Bay Harbour Unplugged Sessions with Prime Circle

We kick off the Bay Harbour Unplugged Sessions next week with the legendary Johnny Clegg, and our following act after that is yet to disappoint. Fresh off last year’s release of their new studio album, Prime Circle is set to awe the Bay Harbour Sound Stage on the 29th August 2013.

11 years and 5 albums later, Ross Learmonth is one of the most recognisable voices in South African music. For the band itself, it’s not about rockstardom, it is all about the fans and the songs. “Without the fans, we would be nothing, and I don’t ever want to do anything else. Creating music for a living is a privilege, and we never forget that,” said Ross

Proudly hosted at the Bay Harbour Market in Hout Bay, these music sessions provide a very intimate setting where you can really get to know your favourite artists by candlelight, through their storytelling as well as their songs.

“The format of the gigs is unique, in that it brings some of SA’s top bands and musicians to the Bay Harbour Sound Stage in an intimate candlelit environment, where they will tell stories around their lives and their songs”, says co-founder Anthony Stroebel. “This will also serve to further entrench the credentials of Bay Harbour as a respected live music venue.”

Selected food stalls will be open as well as a full bar, so come early, grab a seat (first come, first served) and unwind next to the warm fire. Limited tickets are available.

Time: Doors open at 18h00, show starts at 19h30
Venue: Bay Harbour Market, 31 Harbour Road, Hout Bay, Cape Town
